একথা শুনে, হিল্কিয়ের পুত্র ইলিয়াকিম, শিব্ন ও য়োয়াহ সেই সেনাপতিকে বলল, “অনুগ্রহ করে আমাদের সঙ্গে আরামিক ভাষায় কথা বলুন| কারণ যদি আপনি ইহুদীদের ভাষায় কথা বলেন, তাহলে দেওয়ালের ওপরের লোকরা আমাদের কথাবার্তা শুনতে পাবে!”
